The London Chinese Catholic Centre is holding an activity day on Saturday 25th August 2007. At this event we will live out the love of Christ and our love for one another through sharing. The programme will include a short spiritual talk, entertainment throughout the day, bring-and-share lunch and BBQ dinner in the evening. Details are as follows:

Venue: St Barnabas church, 146 Lavenham Road, Southfields, London SW18 5EP

Time: 10:30 – 20:00

We have received a big response for this event since it was publicised, and regrettably, places are now all filled. The organiser would like to thank everyone for their support to this event and wish them all to have an enjoyable day.

PRAISE & WORSHIP PRAYER EVENING

Jesus has said, “If two of you ask, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.” (Matthew 18: 19-20)

This Praise & Worship Prayer gathering is our pit-stop in the middle of a week, where we re-invigorate our spiritual life through sharing our prayers in a group. We pray mainly through music and scripture, share our needs and intentions in prayer, and support and pray for each other. In prayer, we let the Holy Spirit work among us and inject new energy into our spiritual life.

SoG warmly invite you to join us at this mid-week prayer group, to experience with us the presence of Christ, and the peace and harmony in the Lord. The prayer group is held every Wednesday at 7:00-8:00 p.m., in the basement of St. Patrick’s Church, Soho Square, London W1D 4NR. The prayer group is open to anyone interested. No booking is required. Just come.
